Why this Turquoise Coast itinerary needs a clear direction

The coast is long enough that a route planned from a map can become a chain of transfers. Antalya, Kaş, Fethiye, Dalyan and Bodrum are not difficult individually, but combining them needs restraint.

A strong first route protects boat days, old-town evenings, swimming time and ancient sites from the heat and from too many one-night bases.

The Turquoise Coast works best when you choose a direction before choosing hotels. Antalya is useful for the eastern coast. Dalaman makes Fethiye, Dalyan and parts of Muğla easier. Bodrum and Datça are better as a western chapter than as a rushed add-on.
