Cours Mirabeau and Cézanne context
Cours Mirabeau is useful as an orientation line rather than a checklist sight. Cézanne context adds depth if you enjoy art history, but it should not replace the basic pleasure of walking the city slowly.
Day trips from Aix
Aix works well for Sainte-Victoire and southern Luberon villages such as Lourmarin or Bonnieux. Marseille can be an extension or airport chapter, but it needs its own plan. Verdon is usually too far for a casual Aix day unless you accept a long driving day.
