Special: Family-friendly!

Why perfect:

  • Flat at start, steeper optional
  • Kids can scramble
  • Vortex site (spiritual)
  • Less crowded than Cathedral Rock

3. Devil's Bridge ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Difficulty: Moderate
Length: 4 miles round-trip
Time: 2–3 hours
Special: Natural stone bridge!

Highlights:

  • Largest natural sandstone arch in Sedona
  • Spectacular photo opportunities
  • Walk on the bridge (brave ones!)

Note: Very crowded parking, arrive early!


4. Airport Mesa Loop ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Difficulty: Easy
Length: 3.4 miles loop
Time: 1.5 hours
Best for: Sunset!

  • 360° panoramic views of Sedona
  • Vortex site
  • Easily accessible
  • Best sunset spot

Red Rock Scenic Byway (SR 179) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Route: Oak Creek Canyon to Sedona

Time: 30 min drive, 1–2h with stops

Oak Creek Canyon Drive ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Route: Sedona → Flagstaff
Length: 16 miles

  • Slide Rock State Park (natural waterslide!)
  • Oak Creek overlooks
  • Creekside restaurants

Chapel of the Holy Cross ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Must-see!

  • Chapel built into rocks
